Attorney Access Help Center & FAQs

Creating Accounts and Signing In

I’m not sure if I have an Attorney Access account. How can I find out if an account is already created under my email address?

The easiest way to check if you have an Attorney Access account is by visiting the account registration page and attempting to register with your email address. If you already have an account, our system will prevent you from registering and display an error stating, “This email address is already registered.”

In that scenario, we encourage you to reset your password and sign in with that same email address and your new password.

I don’t know my password. How can I set a new one?

You can visit this page to start the process of resetting your password. After you submit your request, an email will be sent to your account’s email address with a link to proceed. Please check your email’s junk or spam folder if you do not receive the necessary email during this process.

I had an Attorney Access account on your previous platform. Do I need to create a new one?

No. If you registered for Attorney Access prior to 2023, you can log in using the same email address and password. You can reset your password if you do not remember your credentials.

I am not using the same email address I was when I created my Attorney Access account. How can I update it?

Your email address is used as your username when logging in to Attorney Access. To update the email address on your account, submit an email address change request. Alternatively, you can send your request to [email protected], and our team will make the update.

Managing Your Membership and Profile Information

I’m not sure whether a Basic or Premium membership is right for me. What are some of the key differences?

Some of the key differences between Attorney Access Basic and Premium memberships include:

State Resources: All members are limited to viewing three states. Premium members are able to view more comprehensive figures.

CLE Access: Premium members receive free access to all on-demand CLE learning opportunities, including the 5-hour “Master Medicaid Planning” course and state Medicaid planning courses. Plus, Premium members can earn on-demand CLE for viewing past webinars. Basic members can view recordings of past CLE webinars but are unable to earn credit.

Advanced Features: Premium members have full access to the advanced features of Attorney Access. This includes the planning calculators and instant quotes, MCA application document download, case law library, and exclusive partner content. Basic members are unable to utilize these advanced features.

How do I change my profile picture?

You can visit the Profile Picture page to update your photo. You can also click “Update” under the default profile picture in the top left corner of your Attorney Access Dashboard.

How do I change my Attorney Access subscription level?

You can upgrade or downgrade your Attorney Access membership from the membership level management page.

You can navigate here by selecting “Manage My Subscription” from your Attorney Access dashboard. In the “My Memberships” section, select “View All Membership Options.”

How do I delete my account?

If you no longer wish to continue your Premium membership, we recommend downgrading to a Basic account so you can still utilize Attorney Access.

If you wish to delete your account and all of the data associated with it, please email us at [email protected], and we will close your account as soon as possible.

Managing Your Billing

How much does Attorney Access Premium cost? Are there any discounts available?

Attorney Access Premium is offered at $79 per month. With this rate, members have the flexibility to continue their subscription on a month-to-month basis. Members also have the option to select an annual subscription to Premium, which is offered at $760 per year—a savings of 20 percent.

I am subscribed to the monthly Premium plan. How does renewal work?

Your monthly subscription will continue at a rate of $79 per month and will be charged to your payment method on file unless you make changes from the Subscription Management page.

How do I see my previous invoices and billing history?

You can view all the information associated with your billing, invoices, and subscription level from the Subscription Management page.

Using the Attorney Access Site

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

I completed an on-demand CLE webinar or course. How do I ensure I receive CLE for viewing?

Only Premium members can earn CLE for applicable on-demand content on Attorney Access. Once you’ve finished viewing any CLE content, be sure to complete the final survey. After the survey has been completed, our CLE coordinator will contact you via email. If you have questions about receiving CLE, please contact [email protected].

How can I find out how many CLE hours can be earned in my state for a CLE webinar?

Each webinar will include a disclaimer with the number of CLE hours available and its status (approved or pending). Some webinars and courses also include a link to a table that highlights the CLE available for each state. If information for your state is not listed, please contact us at [email protected], and we will follow up with the CLE approval status for your state.

How do I access the self-paced, on-demand CLE courses?

CLE courses are hosted through our learning platform, Thinkific. This includes our “Master Medicaid Planning” course and state Medicaid planning courses. Premium members can enroll in these opportunities by visiting the CLE Courses page, then viewing each course’s landing page and selecting “Access Course.” These same steps can be followed to resume each course at a later date.
