ABOUT THIS WEBINAR:

Join us for a special CLE* session featuring guest presenter Mark Munson, CELA, and Krause’s Director of Legal Education, Jim Wolverton, J.D.!

In a crisis planning scenario, elder law attorneys often encounter challenges when dealing with retirement assets such as IRAs and deferred annuities. These assets can present significant obstacles in navigating Medicaid qualification.

However, understanding how to approach these unique assets within the context of Medicaid asset rules and qualification requirements can make what initially seems like a complex issue much more manageable.

During the session, Mark and Jim will explore:

  • The regulations that govern the countability of these assets
  • Relevant tax considerations
  • Practical strategies for addressing them effectively
