Protecting Residents’ Rights in a Nursing Home

In this Elder Law Interview, Alisa Lamal, Legal Content Specialist, is joined by Tim Takacs, Certified Elder Law Attorney, and Pati Bedwell, Elder Care Coordinator, at Takacs McGinnis Elder Care Law located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Tim is the founder of both the Special Needs Alliance and the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and was recently honored in 2021 with a Sage Award for his impact on seniors’ lives in middle Tennessee.

Pati has more than 20 years of experience working with the elderly and their families. She also served as a District Long-Term Care Ombudsman where she handled complaints and coordinated training for over 40 volunteers.
