Watch This Insightful Webinar and Earn CLE*

Tax deductions are a priority for many business owners, yet one commonly overlooked opportunity is the deduction of premiums for long-term care insurance.

Even if a client is primarily a W-2 employee, they or their spouse may operate a side business, opening the door to more favorable tax treatment typically available to business owners. However, the value of these deductions depends on the type of business entity.

During this session, Shawn will explore how tax deductions apply to different types of business owners, how these deductions work when long-term care coverage is offered as an executive benefit, and how to determine which types of policies qualify for these valuable tax advantages.

She will discuss:

  • How certain linked benefit (hybrid) policy LTC premiums can qualify for a tax deduction
  • Maximizing LTC tax deductions for business owners and how to include employees
  • Age-based limits—when they apply and when they don’t
