ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Shirley is an elder law and estate planning attorney at Piercey & Associates, Ltd. She focuses her practice on serving the elderly, the disabled, and those who support them. Based in the Chicago area, she has spoken locally and nationally on elder law issues—conducting more than 50 public seminars and continuing education workshops that encompass elder law and estate planning.
A member of the Illinois State Bar and NAELA, Shirley also serves on the faculty of the National Business Institute of Legal Education Training. She is frequently appointed as Guardian ad Litem and Appointed Counsel in Cook County, IL, and has handled more than 200 guardianship cases and probate matters in the greater Chicago area.
